The comforting words of Psalm 91 (“…no evil shall befall you”) are no less comforting because of difficult circumstances. God is at work in and through even our painful circumstances in a way incomprehensible to us. Even our Lord Jesus, in the days of his flesh, for the joy set before him, endured the cross.
