It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
The blessing of the Lord is life forevermore. Death is the enemy. The Lord Himself conquered death. In the words of the Paschal troparion sung each Easter in Eastern Orthodox churches around the globe:
Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling down death by death
And upon those in the tombs
Bestowing life!
