“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.”
A hungry enemy is someone to be pitied. A thirsty enemy is, more than anything else, someone in need. We are called to love our enemies. The LORD will sort it all out in the end.
