What tho’ my joys and comforts die?
\nThe Lord my Saviour liveth;

\nNo storm can shake my inmost calm
\nWhile to that refuge clinging;
\nSince Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,

I lift my eyes; the cloud grows thin;
\nI see the blue above it;
\nAnd day by day this pathway smooths,
\nSince first I learned to love it,
