For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.\u201d And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The righteous acts of the saints. Christianity is an incarnational religion. As such, it is often the case that seemingly opposite statements are, in fact, complimentary, but in a way beyond our finite ability to understand.<\/p>\n<p>In the Holy Eucharist, we partake of wine (or juice) and bread. The bread is indeed bread, but it isn&#8217;t <em>just<\/em> bread. It is truly the resurrected body of our Lord. And the wine is indeed wine, but it isn&#8217;t <em>just<\/em> wine.
