When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed.\u00a0 And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:\u00a0 \u201cHe Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Matthew 8:16-17<\/em><\/p>\n

He healed all who were sick.\u00a0 Some of them were undoubtedly elect.\u00a0 But I presume not all of them.\u00a0 And yet He healed all who were sick, whether elect or not.\u00a0 He bore their infirmities.\u00a0 He died for the sins of the whole world.<\/p>\n

\n<\/em>A Declaration of Faith<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is one God, the\u00a0Father of the living Word, who is His subsistent Wisdom and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Power and Eternal Image: perfect Begetter of the perfect Begotten, Father of the\u00a0only-begotten Son.<\/p>\n

There is one Lord, Only of the Only, God of God, Image and Likeness of Deity,\u00a0\u00a0Efficient Word, Wisdom\u00a0comprehensive of the constitution\u00a0of all things, and Power formative of the whole creation, true Son of true Father, Invisible of Invisible,\u00a0and Incorruptible of Incorruptible, and Immortal of Immortal and\u00a0Eternal of Eternal.<\/p>\n

And there is\u00a0One Holy Spirit, having His subsistence from God, and being made manifest\u00a0by the Son.\u00a0 The Son is the Image of\u00a0the Father, and the Spirit is that of the Son.\u00a0 Life, the Cause of\u00a0the living; Holy Fount; Sanctity, the Supplier, or\u00a0Leader, of Sanctification; in\u00a0whom is manifested God the Father, who is above all and in all, and God\u00a0the Son, who is through all.<\/p>\n

There is a perfect Trinity, in glory\u00a0and eternity and sovereignty, neither divided nor estranged.\u00a0 Wherefore there is nothing either\u00a0created or in servitude in\u00a0the Trinity.\u00a0 In the Trinity there is nothing either in servitude or created, or\u00a0super-induced,\u00a0 as if at some former\u00a0period it was non-existent, and at some later period it was\u00a0introduced.\u00a0 And thus neither was the Son ever wanting to the\u00a0Father, nor the Spirit to the Son.\u00a0 Neither\u00a0again does the unity grow into duality, nor the duality into\u00a0trinity; or neither does the condition of the one grow into\u00a0\u00a0the condition of the two, nor that of the two into the condition of the\u00a0three,\u00a0but without variation and without change, the same Trinity\u00a0abides forever.<\/p>\n
