{"id":2182,"date":"2012-09-23T22:08:54","date_gmt":"2012-09-24T02:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oldsandals.net\/?p=2182"},"modified":"2012-09-25T08:38:39","modified_gmt":"2012-09-25T12:38:39","slug":"so-inclined","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oldsandals.net\/?p=2182","title":{"rendered":"So inclined"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>So [King] Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.\u00a0And the Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they would not listen.\u00a0Therefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze fetters, and carried him off to Babylon.\u00a0Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,\u00a0and prayed to Him; and [the Lord] received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom.
