{"id":1627,"date":"2012-05-06T07:55:05","date_gmt":"2012-05-06T11:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oldsandals.net\/?p=1627"},"modified":"2012-05-10T08:07:25","modified_gmt":"2012-05-10T12:07:25","slug":"psalm-88-this-psalmists-perspective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oldsandals.net\/?p=1627","title":{"rendered":"(Psalm 88) This psalmist&#8217;s perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to the grave.\u00a0I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a man who has no strength,\u00a0adrift among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom You remember no more, and who are cut off from Your hand.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This psalm, of course, is inspired scripture, yet all\u00a0these things are\u00a0written from this psalmist&#8217;s perspective, and not from God&#8217;s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>It is certainly <em>not<\/em> true that those who have died are remembered no more by the Lord, and are cut off from His hand.
