And the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.\u00a0Eleazar begot Phinehas, and Phinehas begot Abishua;\u00a0Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;\u00a0Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;\u00a0Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;\u00a0Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz;\u00a0Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan;\u00a0Johanan begot Azariah (it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);\u00a0Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;\u00a0Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum;\u00a0Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah;\u00a0Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak.\u00a0Jehozadak went into captivity when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into captivity by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our faith is rooted in history;\u00a0 it is not a fairy tale.\u00a0 We have not followed cleverly-devised fables.\u00a0 It is a real story with real people and a real God.\u00a0 Real sin.
